Mrs. Liddy Smith
Liddy Be Keel Smith was born April 14, 1930 in Hempstead County to the late Leonard and Beatrice Keel. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Garrett Chapel Church. She later became a member of Greater Hope Church. She later re-fellowshipped with Garrett Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by two children, Rosemary and Benjamin; her siblings, Floyd, Frank, Barbara, Shirley and Betty; two grandchildren, Marcus and Reginald.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Willie Smith; children, Georgia (James Leo) Brewer, Verner (Charles) Martin, Neva (Perry) Fulcher, Willie Dean (Clyde) Mays, Arrie Smith, Kathrine (Terry) Woods; a brother, Rural Keel; sisters, Georgia Hickles, Doris Brown, Emma Braggs, Earnestine Miller, Gloria Johnson; brother-in-law, George Ross; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; special friends and caregivers who are important part of the family, Mr. & Mrs. Dexter Flenory, April Roberts and Otha Hill, Jr.

A service celebrating her life will be held 11am Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Garrett Chapel Baptist Church, 102 S. Ferguson, Hope. Burial will be at Scott’s Memorial Gardens in Perrytown. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
