New Millennium Building Systems partnered with DHS Family Services in Hempstead County to bring joy to children and relief to families during this holiday season. On Wednesday, the employees at New Millennium delivered gifts and food baskets by the truck load to our local DHS Family Services office. The employees at both DHS Family Services and New Millennium are overjoyed to be a part of blessing our community.
Angie Kidd, Accounting Clerk at New Millennium said, “This is our second year to partner with DHS Family Services in providing holiday blessings for Thanksgiving and Christmas. To fulfill children’s wishes and to provide baskets within our community is such a blessing to us. Giving hope to children and families, in the goodness of people, is what it’s all about.”
Michael Winarta, The General Manager at New Millennium added, “As a company, we are proud that the employees gather together to make this happen”
Gifts and food baskets were stacked floor to ceiling in the DHS Family Services Office. Families in our community are sure to be blessed and less stressed this year by the overwhelming outpouring of love shown by New Millennium employees and DHS Family Services.
Family Service Worker Supervisor, Terry Yoya stated, “We are very grateful to New Millennium for providing gifts to the children of Hempstead County. This is the second year they have donated and their generosity is overwhelming.”
