June 5, 1978 - February 4, 2024
Amy Michelle (Martin) Ware, age 45, was born June 5, 1978, and left this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 6:00 a.m. Amy grew up in Hope, Arkansas and was active in the Hope Church of Christ youth group, the Hope Superband, and various clubs and organizations. After graduating from Hope High School, she continued her education at Harding University, where she met Scott Ware, the love of her life. Amy had a passion for developing a healthy body, mind, and spirit and pursued a degree in nutritional dietetics. After they married in 2001, they made their home and life in Northwest Arkansas. She loved her years at Mercy Hospital, Hospice Circle of Life, and assisted living homes in the area. The friendships and connections she made there were so special to her. Scott and Amy’s relationship was a match made in heaven. Their life was complete with the addition of their children, Brooklyn, Mallory, and Levi, their greatest joys. Amy loved making every occasion, event, and milestone extra special. Loving God and her family were the center and focus of her life. Her joy in the Lord was reflected in her beautiful smile, genuine love, and concern for everyone she met. On her own journey, she sought out those in the fringe and served them. Amy represented everything good in this world. She was wrapped in beauty, grace, love, sunshine, humor, and encouragement. She was selfless, wise, creative, competitive, compassionate, strong, faithful, and a fantastic wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend – making everyone feel special, valued, and loved. Amy was an eloquent writer and speaker. If you ever had the opportunity to listen to Amy speak in a WPW class at church, Ladies Retreats, or even across the table from you, you knew she was in the word. She impacted countless youth by volunteering as a counselor at Green Valley Bible Camp (her favorite place on earth), helping organize Leadership Training for Christ (LTC) for several years, and volunteering at youth events. She used her fight against ovarian cancer to carry out God’s work by remaining faithful throughout her journey and bringing others closer to Christ. She has touched many lives and brought countless people closer to Christ. She lived her whole life ready to go to her heavenly home – knowing that her citizenship was in Heaven and not here. Amy ran the race and received her prize!
She is survived by both parents, Greg and Jan Martin of Hope, Arkansas; her husband, Scott Ware and three children, Brooklyn, Mallory, and Levi Ware of Elm Springs, Arkansas; One brother, Alan Martin and wife, Jennifer of Hope, Arkansas; Aunt and Uncle Sheila and Kevin Vaught of Fort Smith, Arkansas; In-laws, Harry and Sandy Ware of Springdale, Arkansas; Aunt Ann Ware of Searcy, Arkansas; Brother-in-law, Chad Ware and wife Amanda of Bentonville, Arkansas; Sister-in-law Hannah Herriman and husband Tyler; seven nephews, one niece, and other family and friends.
