Annie B. Cole, 65, affectionately known as Bae Bae, was born on May 17, 1959, in Little Rock, AR and passed away on August 24, 2024, at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX. She was a resident of Heather Manor Nursing & Rehab, where she spent her final years. Annie was a beloved presence in her home, known for her warm smile that lit up any room and her twinkling eyes that sparkled with joy.
Annie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved visiting with the staff of Heather Manor and friends as she rolled through the halls, often bringing laughter with her playful responses to the invitation of a Bingo game, her favorite being, "I'll think about it." Her love for a plain Hershey bar and strawberry ice cream brought her happiness, and she delighted in the weekly visits from Piney Grove Baptist Church, where she cherished the songs of worship and made sure her friends joined in the enjoyment.
On beautiful days, Annie could be found soaking up the sun outdoors, relishing the fresh air, always accompanied by Heather Manor staff for some cherished one-on-one time. She had a fondness for westerns, with "Gunsmoke" being her all-time favorite.
Annie's Heather Manor family loved her as their own and will cherish the memories left behind. While she is deeply missed, her Heather Manor family and friends take comfort in knowing she is free from pain and suffering, now whole again and awaiting the day she will be reunited with those who loved her beyond measure.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
