Ansley “Sonny” Willett, age 84, of McCaskill, Arkansas passed away on March 27, 2024, in Texarkana. 

Ansley was born on February 24, 1940, in Hempstead County, Arkansas to his parents Henry Willett and Clora Clark Willett. He retired from Meyers Bakery; Southwest Arkansas Equipment Co. Ansley was also a retired dairy farmer. His happiness was driven by his love for his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirlene Willet, mother, Clora Clark Willett and father, Henry Willett.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Duane Willett; two daughters, Tereasa Jester (Kevin), Laura Lewis (Allen); sister, Patsy Dudley; four grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Kaitlyn and Kasey; 6 great-grandchildren, Loralli, Aiden, Ashton, Sebastian, Lucas and Asher. 

The visitation will be Monday April 1 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Brazzel Oakcrest chapel.  A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 2 at 10:00am in the Brazzel Oakcrest chapel with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. A burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in McCaskill.
