Mr. Arlice Ray Pettit, 58, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was born April 11, 1965 to Arlice and Shirley Hawthorne Pettit in Texarkana, AR. He was a retired mechanic, good friend, and beloved father.

Mr. Pettit is preceded by his parents, Arlice and Shirley Pettit; sister, Sharon Pugh; and brother, Travis Putman.
Mr. Pettit is survived by a son, “Bubba” Arlice Ray Pettit, Jr.; daughters, April Johnson (Michael) and Jennifer Pettit; brothers, John (Rosetta), Scott, Jerry, and Kenneth Pettit; ten grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Deshon Johnson, Naziyah Johnson, Jamie Taylor, Athen Pettit, Zaden Pettit, Reilyssa Pettit, Royal Smith, Brittian Williams, Preston Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is scheduled 5:00-7:00pm Friday, June 30, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Crane officiating.

Interment following at Columbus Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-
Fuqua Funeral Homes-Hope.
