Arversia B. Woods Thomas brought joy into the lives of Zeb Woods and Narvell Young Woods.  She was born on June 10, 1928 in Powers, Arkansas.  She united with St. Luke #1 Powers Community at an early age.  Years later she moved to Texarkana, TX, where she met and married Charlie Thomas.  They had a chance to leave Texas and moved to Pocima, CA

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Vincent Williams of Dallas, TX and Charlie Thomas, Jr. (Kathy) of Sacramento, CA; one sister, Christean Williamson of Hope, Arkansas and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 1-5pm Thursday at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be 11am Friday, March 6, 2020 at Hicks Memorial Chapel, 407 South Hazel Street, Hope.  Burial will be at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, TX.  Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
