Barbara Peek, 77, of Hope, went in the arms of Jesus on September 20, 2024, surrounded by family. Barbara retired in 1997 from Pinehope Nursing Home after 26 years as a CNA.

Barbara never met a stranger. She was caring, loving and would help anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking, listening to Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Jason Witten #82 was her favorite. She enjoyed being around her family, playing with her grandchildren, playing Yahtzee and dominoes, Having coffee with her family around the “gossip table”. She enjoyed listening and watching her birds’ skipper, sally & Mergette.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her children’s father  David Biddle, late husband Harold Peek, sons Jerry & Robert Biddle, son in law Fred Laudermilk, father JW Cox, mother Pauline Taliaferro, brothers James, Glen Matt Cox, sisters Sadie Bradford and Josephine Cox, paternal grandparents and other family members.

Survived by daughters Donna Wilson, Tammy Laudermilk(Brian), grandchildren Justin, Dustin Laudermilk(Shuntina), Amber Smith, Amanda Cox (Brandon), David Smith(Becky), Katelynn Wilson, Summer Biddle (Steven), Robert Biddle (Angela), greatgrandchildren Joshua Smith, Kassidy Wingfield, Kaden Smith, Dylan Smith, Dalton Smith, Skyler Martin, Athena Martin, Trevor Biddle, Aubrey Biddle, Isaac, Serentiy, Oliver, Grayson, Porter, sister Frances Stout all of Hope. Special friends Chris Bruce, Drew Hensley, Bill Nowajewski, Ronnie Smelser, Derl Pope, caregiver Shari Cox and hos of other family and friends.
