Betty Faye Curtis, age 85, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on December 29, 2022 in a local nursing home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Curtis was born on January 19, 1937 in Spring Hill, Arkansas to her parents Glen and Fay Burns. She was an amazing mother, who gave her children the best childhood they could have, taking them to concerts and on big family trips every year. Alongside being a homemaker, she kept the books for their businesses, Curtis Plumbing and Dave Curtis Poultry Farm. She was a great cook and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 61 years, Dave Curtis Jr.; and one brother, Billy Burns.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mark Curtis and wife Theresa, Hank Curtis and wife Amy, Julie Neely and husband Scott; six grandchildren, Dustin, Zack, Jenna, Emily, Ethan, Eric; five great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Burns and wife Barbara; sister, Peggy Stovall; along with numerous other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Central Church of Christ Cemetery on Highway 29 South with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Homes, Hope.
