Graveside services for Betty Sue Dixon, age 94, of Rosston, AR, is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 25th at the Rosston Cemetery, in Rosston. Services are under the direction of Brazzel - Oakcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Lloyd officiating.  Ms. Dixon died on September 21, 2024, in Little Rock, AR.  She was born May 11, 1930 in Rosston, AR to the late Otis and Ruth Whitehead Dixon.  She was a teacher for over 30 years with the last several years at Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, LA.  She moved back to Rosston in 1998.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Rosston and a current member of Corinth Baptist Church in Rosston, AR.

Survivors include her brother Charles R. (Ronnie) Dixon; nephews, Mike Dixon, Magnolia, AR and Larry Dixon, Tyler, TX; nieces Elaine Gunnels, McNeil, AR and Janet Shoffner, Carthage, TX; great nephews, Chad Dixon, Magnolia, AR, Michael Gaines, Rosston, AR, Kevin Gill, Henderson, TX, Eric Gill, Golden, CO, Mark Shoffner, Dallas, TX, Jason Shoffner, Flint, TX, Doug Shoffner, Tyler, TX, Wade Dixon, Flint, TX; great nieces, Amy Lamb, Little Rock, AR, and Ellen Embrey, Bullard, TX; great great nieces, Emma Parker, Zoie Dixon, Carlie Dixon, Cheyenne Dixon, Ashley Gaines Owens, Hannah Gaines, Makenzie Gaines, Tate Gill, Reese Shoffner, Wynne Shoffner, Aisley Shoffner, Eden Shoffner, Ridley Shoffner, Ivey Shoffner, Annie Dixon and Brooklyn Embrey; and great great nephews, Dixon Gill, Breck Gill, George Shoffner, Cooper Shoffner and Hank Dixon.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jim Dixon; niece, Rene’ Dixon Gill and great nephew, T-Boy Wistrand.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
