Carl Clinton Murry of Emmet, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Texarkana, Texas. He was born January 29, 1948 of Emmett, Arkansas to J.P. and Doris Murry.

Mr. Murry was a longtime employee of the Arkansas State Highway Department, from which he retired. He was known as “Pop” to those closest to him. He had a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and all “tales” included. He loved his grand-girls and family Sunday suppers. Carl had a tale for almost everything imaginable.

Mr. Murry is preceded in death by his father Perry Murry and mother Doris Murry, brother, Wendell Murry and sister, Gail Herron.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years Mary Beth, son Clint Murry and wife Jackie of Nashville, AR; Rick Murry and wife Holly of Willisville, AR. 3 grandkids, Callie Murry of Nashville, AR; Jayde and Jordan Murry of Willisville, AR. Numerous family and friends.

The service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in our chapel at 2:00 p.m. Neal Ridling will officiate under the direction of Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Harmony Cemetery.
