Carl D. Ray, Jr.

Carl D. Ray, Jr, age 80 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Hope, Arkansas. He was born January 29, 1941 to Carl D. Ray, Sr. and Mary Olive Kirby Ray in Little Rock, AR.  He was a retired owner of C&L Ray Trucking and lease to BNB, Inc. for many years in Hope, AR. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church, and an avid fan of NASCAR racing and the Dallas Cowboys.  

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, LaJuanna Rowe Ray of Hope; sons, Tim Ray of Nashville, AR, Tod Ray of Mineral Springs, AR; step-son Bill Rowe & Jossie of Searcy, AR; step-daughter, LaDonna Walden & Joe of Huntsville, TX. Grandchildren: Merina Ray & Tim Ray of Malvern, AR, Levi Ray of Mineral Springs, Dalton Rowe & Britney Rowe of Hope, Bridgett Walden Dunn of Austin, TX, Sean Walden of Canyon City, CO, and Joseph Walden & Andrea of Columbus, OH. 4 great-grandkids, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 7:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.

Graveside service will be at 10:00am Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Bro. Casey Curtis officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest the Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel, Director. Online condolences: www.brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
