Carolyn Lamb

Carolyn Lamb, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 6, at Reunion Plaza Nursing Home in Tyler, Texas, under the compassionate care of Kindful Hospice and Home-aid Caregivers.

Born October 30, 1938, in Texarkana, Arkansas to Sam and Mable (Cole) Gammill, Carolyn was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent much of her life in Little Rock, Arkansas; Wichita Falls, Texas; and Biloxi, Mississippi.

Carolyn retired after a 36-year career as a Civil Service Mental Health Counselor at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 64 years, Roger A. Lamb; her parents; and her brothers, Don Gammill and Sam Gammill.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Jane Tuntstall; her children, Debbie White, Kathy Herbert, and Mitch Lamb; and her son-in-law Cy White and daughter-in-law Karen Dunn Lamb. She leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren: Clay White, Carly White Burch, Collin White, Carmerin White Booher, Allen Herbert, Jacklyn Herbert, Ashley Lamb Eikler, Jacob Lamb, and Konner Lamb. Carolyn was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Hannah White, Hailey Burch, Brinley Burch, Joshua Burch, Ella Eikler, Oliver Eikler, Lucy Eikler, Cohen Eikler, and Wyatt Booher.

She will be lovingly remembered by her great sons-in-law, Josh Burch, Blake Booher, and Corey Eikler, as well as by many other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11th, at 2:30 pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, officiated by Bro. Neil Ridling

Arrangements are under the care of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
