Carolyn Ann McBay, born on July 25, 1953, in Texarkana, Texas, to Wylie and Alleane Graham Jones, passed away peacefully, reuniting with her beloved husband and daughter in the arms of the Lord.
Gary and Carolyn shared a deep and devoted bond. The two married young, eloping in 1969. They shared 27 years of love, laughter, and adventures before Gary’s untimely passing in 1995—a loss that Carolyn never fully recovered from. Their life together was filled with joy, raising their children and spending time outdoors, enjoying camping, hunting arrowheads, gardening, fishing, music, and embracing nature.
Carolyn was a woman defined by her giving heart. She had a quiet strength, a love for her family that knew no bounds, and a generosity that touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for her resilience, her love of the outdoors, and the unwavering devotion she gave to her family.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Wylie and Alleane Jones; her daughter, Christina Ann; her dear friend, Jerry; and her loving husband, Gary McBay. She is survived by her three children: Alisa McBay Pirkey of Curtis, AR, Stacy McBay and wife Beth of Bismarck, AR, and Shane McBay and wife Trish of Harrison, AR; two sisters: Patsy Seiger of Linden, TX, and Jerlene Martin and husband Terry of Avery, TX; her brother-in-law, Randy McBay and wife Donna; and sister-in-law, Sherry McBay Wylie and husband Gator. She also leaves behind a legacy of love in her seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family and friends will meet on Friday, October 4th, at 1 p.m. in Hope, AR, at Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home, with a procession following at 1:30 p.m. for graveside services at Anderson Baptist Cemetery in Spring Hill, AR.
