Chancelor Camp “C.C.” Sanford, 90, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 in Prescott. He was born November 26, 1929 in Hope, Arkansas to Harold and Martha Adell Camp Sanford.

C.C. was a retired painter and a farmer. He loved animals, traveling and spending time with his family. He always enjoyed working hard and painting.

Mr. Sanford is preceded in death by his wife, Merle Westmoreland Sanford; one brother, Howard Sanford; two sisters, Martha Ann Sims and Mary Fullerton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Kevin Sanford and wife Janet, Chancelor Sanford II and wife Kathy, and Marshun Sanford; three daughters, Karen Sanford Moon and husband Maurice, Kristen Sanford Birdsong and husband Clay, and Vanessa Fitts; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother, Billy Sanford.

Visitation is 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home Prescott.

Graveside service is 10:00am Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bluff City.
