Remembering Charlton “Peanut” White
Charlton White, affectionately known as Peanut, was born on January 23, 1971, in Hope, Arkansas, to Billy Charles White and Patsy Ruth Levingston. Peanut graduated from Hope High School with the Class of 1989.
On July 11, 1998, he married Patricia White-Henderson, a union that lasted until 2021. Peanut worked as a general laborer and enjoyed fishing, play wrestling, and savoring good food. He also believed he was the world’s best rapper.
Charlton “Peanut” White, age 52, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Wadley Regional Hospital in Hope, AR. Though he may have departed from this world, Peanut's memory remains etched in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Charles and Patsy Ruth White, and his nephew, Ni’kkis White.
Charlton leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish his memories: his four children, Taquan White and Ardriona White, both of Portland, OR, and Na’Kaya White and Davion Horton; three grandchildren, Neveah White, Myrah White, and Aaron White; two brothers, Mario White and Rueven White (with Ta’Keisha Griffin); a special nephew raised as his brother, Sorkeiss White; auntie, Mary Levingston; uncle, Will White; a special friend, Martha Jack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
