Bro. Cullen Purifoy was born November 23, 1923 in Bluff City, Arkansas, to the parentage of Tom and Rosie Purifoy.  Cullen made his transition to glory on September 29, 2020 at Wadley Hospital in Hope, Arkansas.

Cullen accepted Christ at an early age and he remained faithful to His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

At a very young age, he met and married the love of his life, Ruth Ella (Gulley) Purifoy.  They resided in Bluff City, Arkansas.  Bro. Cullen loved his hometown and he loved playing his Harmonica.  Cullen worked at Firestone many years until his retirement.

Cullen and Ruth Ella were married many years, to this union, four (4) children were born; one daughter, Ruth; three sons, Danny, Vernon and Bobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Purifoy; five siblings, Martin, McKinley, Agnes, Pearlene and Merlene.

Memories will be cherished by his wife, Ruth Ella; four children, Ruth (David) Jackson of Prescott, AR, Danny Purifoy and Bobby Purifoy of Bluff City, Arkansas and Vernon (Dorothy) Purifoy of Chidester, Arkansas; special granddaughter, Carla Purifoy; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Bernadine Purifoy; special brother-in-law, R.J. Purifoy and  a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
