Most people will remember David as that tall hardworking man at the Sonic that took your order and for the majority of his life that business was his absolute pride and joy. He spent many years with unending days and nights at Sonic doing what he absolutely loved until age and illness caused him to take a back seat from the day-to-day operations at the store. Back in his younger years he also loved drag racing which he did regularly with many many late nights and busted knuckles. Later in his life he settled into enjoying visiting with family and friends and spending time with his grandsons.
Dave spent most of his life as a hard-working community member and business owner and he will be Greatly missed by family and friends.
Many thanks to all the fine people at Heather Manor nursing and rehabilitation center here in Hope, the doctors & nurses at Wadley Regional Medical Center here in Hope & the kind Gentiva Hospice folks that jointly kept him as comfortable as possible & made things a little bit easier to accept & cope with within his final days.
