Donald Ralph McMahan, born in Fresno, CA on August 12, 1956 passed peacefully in his home on September 1, 2023. Don learned at a young age that he loved life on the edge, the more danger the better. He worked as many things in life but driving on his big truck and riding his motorcycles had his heart. Throughout his life he not only lived hard but fought intensely to support his family, what mattered most. Anyone who knew Don knew he stood for more than a man, he was a lover and a fighter and leaves behind a legacy most could only dream of. 

They say in life that you live and you die, but Don McMahan lived a full life in between. 

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 33 years, Kay McMahan, son Jason Bettencourt  (Stephanie) of California, son Jerry McMahan(Texas), daughter Sharron McMahan(Arkansas), daughter Serenity Witherell (Kasie) of Oklahoma, daughter Katy Rowden (Davion) of Texas, son Joshua McMahan (Kimberly) of Arkansas, daughter Dawna Kaye Jones (Jalon) of Arkansas. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 2 special brothers Johnny Hopkins and Mark Baker, 1 sister Linda Slayton (Georgia), Brothers Dennis McMahan (Donna) of California and Ronnie McMahan of Arkansas along with many close nieces and nephews that will miss their uncle Don greatly. He is preceded in death by his mother Shirley Baker, father Earl McMahan, daughter Kaylynn McMahan, niece Justine McMahan, brothers Carl Wayne Balis, Carl Archa and Kenny McMahan and his mother in Love, Bernie Heavner.  Give ‘em hell Don and Rest In Peace. Don’s Memorial Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
