Donald Ray Neal, age 92, was born to John B. Neal and Ida Neal in Hope, Arkansas, on June 17, 1932, and died in Shreveport, Louisiana, on December 20, 2024.

Donald played football for and graduated from Hope High School in Hope, Arkansas, and served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1974. He worked at Boeing Aircraft and Cities Service and worked as a mechanic at several companies. He enjoyed working on cars and remodeling houses.

He is survived by his former wife Barbara, daughters Donna Watkins and Shelia Bonivillian, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
