Dortha Mae Williamson
On Tuesday, July 19, 1932 a beautiful baby girl was born to Henry and Everlene Walker in Washington, Arkansas. Throughout her journey she became a resident of Nashville, AR and touched the lives of many. At the age of 88, Dortha Mae Williamson passed away late in the morning on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, AR.
Dortha Mae joined her loved ones in eternal rest, uniting with her parents the late Henry and Everlene Walker; four brothers, Odell Walker, CW Walker, Authry Lee Walker, and Charles Walker; sisters, Dortha Lee Swift (Twin) and Fannie Mae Crosby; her husband, Roger Lee Williamson; daughters, Emma Williamson-Ford and Loretta Williamson-Johnson; two sons, Marvin Williamson and Roger Louis Williamson Sr.; two granddaughters, Jackie Ford and Tonda Ford; one grandson, Roger (Shug) L. Williamson Jr.; and a special nephew, Alvin Williamson who she raised; they all preceded her in death.
A life well lived and her legacy of love will never be forgotten. Dortha will be remembered by her three sons, Wesley Williamson and Larry Williamson both of Nashville, AR, and Ray Charles Williamson of Ozan, AR; three daughters, Zoella Smith and Romana Coulter both of Nashville, AR, and Felica Williamson of Texarkana, Texas; one special niece, Sharlett Williamson-Jefferson of Nashville, AR who she raised as her own; 29 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends!
