Edward Harrison “Harry” Kemp, 68 of Texarkana, AR passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, in Texarkana, TX.

Harry was born July 31, 1954, in Beebe, AR to Edward and Ruby Holiday Kemp.  Mr. Kemp was a retired log truck driver and a man of many skills.  He could make just about anything when he put his mind to it.  Harry could have survived an apocalypse, because he knew everything you need to know on how to survive outdoors including, hunting, fishing, building, and mechanics. He spent many years showing James how to survive outdoors.  Harry was a man who knew the Bible, and he was a man who loved God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruby Kemp. Survivors include his son James Kemp and wife Erica; two grandsons Hunter and Jaxson; granddaughter Emorie; five siblings David, Louise, Jessie, Randy and John.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 18,2023 in the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Casey Smith officiating. Under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home
