Ellen Sue Loe Dougan, age 83 of White Hall, AR, formerly of Cale, AR (Nevada County) passed away at home on January 11, 2021. She was born on April 6, 1937 to the late W. B. “Billy” and Edith Carroll Loe. She was a retired food service worker from the Nevada County School District, and laundry service supervisor from Hillcrest Nursing and Rehab. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church at White Hall. She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers: Algie, Edgar, Joe, Thomas (A.D.), Robert, W. B. (Jr), Abram, Ardell Loe and 5 sisters: Era Loe Baker, Dera Loe, Mary Lou Loe, Juanita Loe Hicks, and Sidney Loe Steed.
She is survived by three daughters: Kathy Wells of White Hall, AR Patricia (Jeff) Crane of Redfield, AR and Belinda Dougan of North Little Rock, AR. One son: Doug (Audra) Dougan of Prescott, AR. One brother: Ottis (Joy) Loe of McCaskill, AR one brother-in-law: David (Dorothy) Dougan of Sulphur Springs, TX and one sister-in-law, Alice Mae Leach of Colorado Springs, CO. Eight grandchildren: Amanda Dougan (Terry) Andrews, Amy Morman Krause, Danielle Dougan, Lisa (Josh) Helmick, Ted (Allison) Morman, Rivers Wells, Hoy (Ali) Crane, Bobby (Julie) Crane. Twelve great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice Care for their services and help.
No visitation is planned at this time.
