Eugenia “Jeanie” Stewart, age 81, of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away on June 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Mrs. Stewart was born on September 21, 1941, in Sparkman, Arkansas to her parents Junius and Maureen Ezell. She worked at the family-owned businesses as a bookkeeper for many years. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Buddy” Stewart; and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Randy (Lori) Stewart of Gurdon, Arkansas, Dennis (Amy) Stewart of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, David (Kelly) Stewart of Caddo Valley, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Ashton and Jake; and one great grandchild, Phoenix.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Rose Hedge Cemetery with Bro. Andrew Goodwin officiating under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Gurdon, Arkansas.
