Florence Evelyn Rowe was born October 20, 1936 in El Paso, TX. She was known for her music, especially her beautiful soprano voice which touched the hearts of all who heard her, kindness and intelligence. She graduated valedictorian from her high school and went on to International Bible College where she also graduated valedictorian. While at college she met her husband, Joseph Thomas Rowe, and was married for 63 years until he passed away last August.
She served God in the ministry along side her husband during their entire marriage. She was ready to meet God and her husband and said so on many occasions.
While those who love her grieve her passing we rejoice that she is in the presence of God and reunited with her husband, parents, her brother Ed Harris and all those who she loved and have gone before into God’s presence.
She is survived by her children, Pam Peach and Paul Rowe; her grandchildren, Lauren Wolff, Michelle Peach, Chelsea Renee Roberson, John Salinas, Kimberly Norwood, Christopher Rowe and Kandice Salinas (in order of birth). She has five great grandchildren, Mason Salinas, Owen Norwood, Tucker Salinas, Alyssa Norwood and Remi Bennett (in order of birth). She is also survived by many who loved her and whom she loved in turn.
She went to be with God July 9, 2020. Service will be held at White Oak Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
Bro. Lee Little will officiate under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.
