George Washington Rosenbaum, 91, of Crossroads passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Hope.

George was born April 2, 1930, in Hope, AR to Chester and Annie Mitchell Rosenbaum.

He was a farmer and employed for 27 years with the Arkansas Highway Department, and a U.S. Army Veteran.

George was preceded in death by his wife Alice Rosenbaum; his parents; a daughter Linda Rosenbaum Crider; granddaughter Cindy Crider Lafferty; and a sister Mary Guptill.

Survivors include a son Raymond Rosenbaum (Suzanne) of Springhill; daughter Amy Smith (Kevin) of Crossroads; sister Evelyn Ross (Forrest) of Hope; grandchildren David Crider of Crossroads, Cara Rosenbaum, Kayla Rosenbaum, Justin Rosenbaum all of Springhill, Drew Smith of Rogers, and Brett Smith of Hope; and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10-11am Friday, December 17, 2021, in the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Westmorland Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home.
