Glenda Gail Dickerson, 84, of Emmet went to be with the Lord Monday January 27, 2025, at her home.
Glenda was the daughter of Glenon and Billie Bryant Huckabee born January 31, 1940, in Hope, AR.
She was a retired manager from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Glenda also trained Thorough Bred race horses and was an antique dealer. Diva is the name her friends gave her because she was known to be a fashion diva. She was an avid walker and loved Zumba. Glenda was devoted to helping people and animals, fostering children with donations, feeding her animals, donating to the animal shelter, Hope for Paws and Hope in Action #2. She enjoyed Fellowship and luncheons at the First Presbyterian Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband James Park Dickerson, her son Gregory Parker Dickerson, her brother Ronnie W. Huckabee, and her beloved cat Thomas A Kat.
Survivors include one nephew Paul Dickerson; several cousins; and she was blessed with many friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday January 30, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Vernon R. Livingston officiating.
