Gloria Jean Stroud, 89, of Emmet, AR passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 in Prescott.  She was born January 22, 1931 in Olla, LA to Howard Henry and Julia Elizabeth Smith Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C.L. “Vic” Stroud; a son, Tony Stroud; and a brother, Charlie Brown.

Jean is survived by a son, Howard (Tonya) Stroud of Fayetteville, AR; a daughter, Vicki (Ronnie) Carlton of Emmet, AR; four grandchildren, Randall (Kelly) Stone, Brandi McKamie, Dusty Pennington, and Caden Stroud; four great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday May 9, 2020 10:00 AM at Bright Star Cemetery with Bro. Carol Bryant officiating, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
