Henry H. Parmer, 83, of Hope, AR passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, in Hope. 
Henry was born July 20, 1940, in Emmet, AR to Ben Henry and Netty Jean Clark Parmer.  He was in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. Henry worked at Hope Police Department as a patrolman and retired from Meyers Bakery. 
He loved his family, hunting, and his dogs.
Mr. Parmer was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Mark Parmer, and daughter Pamela Lynn Parmer. Henry is survived by his wife Betty Stone Parmer; a stepdaughter Karen Dougan (Jimmy) of Hope; a stepson Travis Stone of Texarkana, TX; a brother Herbert Parmer of Hope; a sister Gwen Hill of Conroe, TX; a grandchild Jason Batson; and numerous nieces. 
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
