Herman Lee White was born to Flossie Johnson and the late Major White April 4, 1945 in Ozan, Arkansas. He attended school at Lincoln High School in Washington, Arkansas. He later moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he lived for many years. He departed this life in Jonesboro Hospital at Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Randy Muldrew of Toledo, Ohio; his loving mother, Flossie Johnson of Hope, Arkansas; sisters, Rosie (George) Davis, Verna (Chester) Johnson, Carla (James) Stuart, Sandra (Richard) Harris, Michelle Martin, Felisha Johnson, all of Hope, Arkansas, Rosie (Supt. Thedore) Marks of Benton, Arkansas, Dorothy Butler, Gladys (Eugene) McFadden of Texarkana, Texas, Carolyn White of Rock Hill, San Diego, California, Dorothy Gibson, Barbara White, Gwen (Charles) Smith of Cleveland, Ohio; brothers, Carl Johnson of Hope, Arkansas, Marcus (Lena) White of Washington, Arkansas, Leroy (Gail) Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska, Charles White, Ronald White, Anthony (Carol) White, all of Cleveland, Ohio; a special niece, Yameshia Thornton Prater; a special nephew, Jeffery Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Preceded in death by his father and step-mom, Major and Enda White; one grandson, Major Lee Anthony White; one sister, Barbara Ann White of Washington, Arkansas; brothers, Robert, James, Raymond, Joe Johnson.
Visitation will be 12-5pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, July 21 at Hicks Memorial Chapel for funerals. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery in Ozan. Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
