James “Bo” Collums, age 70, of Crossroads Community, Arkansas, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 7, 2024. Bo was born on February 21, 1954, in Hope, AR, to James “JB” and Magdalene Collums. He retired from Domtar Papermill in Ashdown after thirty-nine years of service.
His favorite hobbies included aviation, motorcycles, and raising cattle. Although Bo never had children of his own, he was beloved by his two stepchildren and grandchildren. He loved Sharing his experiences and troubleshooting mechanical problems. Bo was well known for building hot rods, dirt bikes, and going fast in his younger years. Later in life, he preferred spending time with his family and teaching life lessons. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Jeannette Collums, two stepchildren: Jake Stewart and Dustylou Stewart, four grandchildren Matthew Dean, Kaylee Stewart, Jamison Stewart, and Lexi Stewart, one great grandson Oliver Smith.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Westmoreland Cemetery in Cross Roads, Arkansas.
