Mr. James “G-BO” Huckabee, age 82 of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away Saturday January 7, 2023, at his home surrounded by family. James was born on June 26, 1940, in Spring Hill to Charlie and Bertha Thomas Huckabee. He was the youngest of 16 children.

James was a retired load operator for Hempstead County and a member of Coon Branch Hunting Club. He was a life-long fox and deer hunter that loved listening to his hounds run. He was a member of Anderson Baptist Church.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Gail Cato Huckabee, son, Greg Huckabee, parents and 15 siblings.

He is survived by his son, Mark Huckabee (Wauleai) daughter, Gena Calhoon (Jerry) grandchildren, Kyle Huckabee, Erin Davlin (Chance) Sarah Huckabee, Justin Huckabee, Justin Calhoon (Kate) Weston Huckabee, one great-grandson, Jace Davlin, special companion Carol Stevenson of 14 years.  a host of extended family members and close friends like family.

Visitation will be 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Tuesday January 10, 2023, at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest with a graveside to follow at 2:00pm in Anderson Cemetery with Bro. Daniel Bramlett officiating.
