REMEMBERING “JT”
James Taylor Green
James “JT” Taylor Green, 54, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. Born January 13, 1971, in Hope and raised in Saratoga, Arkansas, JT was a true cowboy at heart. He graduated from Saratoga High School with the Class of 1989 and was best known for his love of horses and the many days he spent working and riding. His favorite horse, Hildago, has long since passed, but the two shared a bond folks still talk about—a legend in its own right.
JT was a devoted member of Corinth First Baptist Church in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, and will be remembered for his gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and deep love for family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Lindsey Green and Annie Mae Green, who lovingly raised him, and his special aunt, Girtrude Green.
JT leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Lois Green; his mother, Erma Jean Green; his son, Taylor James Turner of Fort Worth, Texas; stepchildren, Maurice Johnson Jr. (Missy Bobo) of Hope, Arkansas, Chonnel (Angie) Johnson of Hope, Arkansas, and Duana Tidwell of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Trinity Rogers, Kaylee Johnson, Amauri Johnson, Laylah Johnson, Neveah Johnson, Tikyla Johnson, Michaela Minefee, Sa’Niyah Palmer, and KeShaun Palmer; great-grandchildren, Kashton Knox and Kemoni Palmer; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
