Jason Lee Downs, 49, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Lonoke, Arkansas. 

Jason was born September 19, 1973 to Hershel Downs and Patricia DeVenney Beavers in Hope, Arkansas. He was a truck driver who loved to hunt and fish. Jason was the sweetest man who never met a stranger.

Jason is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Lee and Jean Downs; maternal grandparents, Mary Lou and George DeVenney; and brother, Joey Downs.

Jason is survived by his wife, Angela Downs; parents, Hershal Downs (Tammy) and Patricia Beavers (Mike); in-laws, Steve and Leta Black; sisters, Angela Carlton (Jonathan), Malinda Gregory (Bill), Kimberly Lanier (Alison); brothers, Joey Beavers (Rhonda), Corey Beavers (Alison), Cale Ridling; brother-in-law, Stacy Black (Hollie); children, Lani Downs, Addy Black, Steven Downs, Emma-Lou Downs; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is scheduled 5:00-8:00pm Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Herdon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00am Friday, September 15, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope with Charles Jones officiating. 

Burial will be at a later date.
