Mrs.
Jerry Sue Collins Wright, age 79 of Benton, Arkansas passed away peacefully in
her sleep on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Alcoa Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center. She was born on August 14, 1940 at the Julia Chester Hospital in Hope,
Arkansas to Cathryn Collins Phillips and E. H. Collins of Springhill, AR.
Jerry Sue was a secretary and bookkeeper who worked for various businesses in
the Hope area throughout her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,
and great grandmother. Throughout her youth she played piano for various
quartets and at various church events throughout Southwest Arkansas.
She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Harold Wright of Hope, and
parents E.H. Collins and Cathryn Collins Phillips of Springhill.
Survivors are her sister Sherry Black (Glenn) of Hope; daughters Pamela Wright
Donovan (Frank) of Burleson, Texas and Cathy Farrell of Bryant, Arkansas;
Grandchildren Laura Hunter (Dustin) of Arlington, TX, Michael Hogue (Kelly) of
Austin, TX, Matthew Hogue of Arlington, TX and Sarah Farrell of Arkadelphia,
Arkansas. Great granddaughters Riley, Brooklynn, and Kolbie Hunter of
Arlington, TX.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at
Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main Hope, AR.
Funeral service to be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 1:00pm in the chapel
of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope with Bro. Terry Wright to
officiate. Burial to follow in Huckabee Cemetery in Spring Hill.
