Jewelene Clark was born on October 23, 1949, in Washington, Arkansas, to the late Mary and Jake Carey. She departed this life on January 09, 2023. She is joined in death by her mother, Mary Carey; father, Jake Carey; sister, Dewana Edwards; grandmother, Mammie Wade; uncle, Tommy Lee Wade; and niece, Pamela Turner.

Jewelene accepted Christ at an early age. Jewelene was a devoted Christian and was an avid member of Love Peace and Happiness Christian Fellowship for many years. In 1972, she met and married her husband, Terry Clark. Jewelene was a compassionate and caring individual. Anyone who had the pleasure of being in Jewelene’s presence knew she loved to laugh and spend quality time with her friends and family. Jewelene loved to the be the life of party everywhere she went.

Jewelene was a beautiful person who left an impact and touched the hearts of anyone she ever met.  

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her two brothers, Jerry (Dewana) Carey of Little Rock, Arkansas; Johnny (Becky) Carey of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters Doris Ellis, Shirley Carey of Los Angeles, California; and Linda Carey of Hope, Arkansas. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends to cherish her eternal memory.
