Mrs. Jo Carolyn Fry, age 76, of Ashdown, Arkansas passed away on Monday September 16, 2024 at her home. She was born July 4,1948 to Carl and Josephine (Powell) Curtis in Hope, Arkansas.
Jo was a graduate of Spring Hill High School.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, getting everyone together, and loved cooking for the family. Her past time enjoyment was playing golf and sewing, but her favorite past time was enjoying time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Hope. Throughout her battle with diabetes, dialysis, and bone cancer, she never lost her faith with God, as her focus was always on him.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Josephine Curtis, son Jason Fry and husband Roy Dale Fry.
She is survived by her daughter Kriste Foster (George Foster), granddaughters: Paige Jameson, Allie Fry
grandson: Channin Jameson (Amykay), Joey Dale Fry (Ashley), great grandchildren: Zhoey, Keilea, Kelton, Kynlee, Kenna, Kelby, Tucker, and Wyatt;
Her siblings: Gale Adams (late Leon Adams), Janice Kidd (late Varner Kidd), Jack Curtis (Beverly), Carla Quarterman (late Bodie Quarterman) as well as many nieces and nephews
Visitation of family and friends will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday September 21, with service to follow at 2:00 pm at the Brazzel Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Interment will be at a later date.
