John David Crider

John David Crider, 41 of Cross Roads, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, December 25, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with ALS.  David was born on Thursday, April 17, 1980, in Hope to Johnny and Linda Rosenbaum Crider. David is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, Linda Crider and his sister, Cindy Lafferty.

David accepted his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hope. David lived life to the fullest, always was wearing a smile, which was “catching” or thinking of a way to “pick” at you, or just plan “horsing” around. To know David was to love him. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and calling the “Hogs,” for he loved watching the Razorbacks.

David is survived by his loving and devoted father, Johnny Crider (Jackie) of Cross Roads, his sisters: Teresa Williams, Carrie Dalrymple, Melissa Johnson, Randi Haley and Jerri Anne’ Harris, his aunt, Judy Pierce of DeAnn, a brother-in-law, Billy Lafferty (Kayla) of Rosston, his nieces Elizabeth Lafferty, Emma Lafferty, Kenzi and Karsyn Taylor, other uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and other family members and friends; and his other brother, TJ Brown, who took wonderful care of David.

A Special Thanks to the ALS Association of Arkansas and ALS in Wonderland for all their support.

Services are pending and will be announced.
