Joseph "Joe" Ciaccio, Jr.

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Ciaccio Jr. passed away on May 9th, 2020 at the Hospice of Texarkana inpatient facility surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 19, 1942.  He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Ciaccio Sr. and Marie Jones Ciaccio, and his loving grandparents Nick and Adelaide Jones.  He is survived by two daughters, Nicki Watts of Lawton, OK and Sandy Callahan of Purcell, OK, two grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

He was of Baptist faith and lived in the community of De Ann.  

He was a retired truck driver.  He drove for 42 years, the last 15 years for Roadway Express.  Roadway was his favorite company to work for.  Joe drove in 40 of the lower 48 states and parts of Canada.

He was also an active sea cruiser.  Joe embarked on 38 cruises; 35 on large ships, and 3 on his small yacht from Memphis, TN to Panama City, FL.  He visited most islands in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, plus ports of call in southern Mexico and Honduras.

The road and the sea will miss Joe.  We will miss him greatly as well.

Mr. Joe Ciacco will lie in state from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday May 12th at the BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home located at 1001 S Main St, Hope, AR.  Graveside service will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Piney Grove Cemetery in Boughton, AR  (Prescott, AR) with Bro.
