Joseph Lee Heath Sr., age 93, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on December 20, 2022 in a local nursing facility. 

Heath was born on June 17, 1929 in Jacksonville, Georgia to his parents Miller Lee and Eula Heath. He was of Baptist faith, loved fishing, hunting, and raising cattle.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Lucy Heath; son, Timothy Lee Heath; three brothers, Freddie Heath, Rodney Heath, Hansford Heath; and one sister, Wilma Summerford. 

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Joseph Lee Heath Jr. and wife Dianne of Prescott, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Jeremy Heath and wife Tonya of Prescott, Arkansas, Gerald Lee Heath and wife Jennifer of Prescott, Arkansas, Melissa Ann Girard and husband Brian of Hot Springs, Arkansas; seven great-grandchildren, Dalton Heath and wife Cara of Texarkana, Texas, Justin Heath, Caleb Heath, Lynlee Heath, Layla Heath, Weston Heath, all of Prescott, Arkansas, Jacob Girard of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Miller Lee Heath Jr.; two sisters, Margie Nell Bennett, Millie Ann Emerson; along with numerous other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held on 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Prescott.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Prescott with Bro. Frank Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Prescott.
