Joseph  Mac Young, age 68, of Hope, AR stepped into heaven Friday, September 29 at 5:30pm, Which was the same date and time of Joe Mac and Darlene's Wedding 45 years ago!

Joe Mac Young was born in 1955 in Hope, AR. to George M. and Helen

McAdams Young. He was a husband, father, brother, pawpaw, friend, and co-worker. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Razorbacks and Dallas Cowboys. He collected sports memorabilia. Camping, hunting and fishing were some activities he enjoyed. He graduated from Hope High in 1973 and from Ouachaita Baptist University in 1978.

Joe Mac married Darlene Jester on September 29, 1978. They were blessed with two children and six grandkids also known as their 'mickymouses'.

Joe Mac was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Maddie Kirkley. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene; son Bobby Young and wife Candace of Little Rock, AR; daughter Breanna Kirkley and husband Chad of Picayune, MS; six grandchildren Gracie, Joseph Douglas “JD”’ Trent, and Paxton Young; Triston and Kyndal Kirkley; one brother Leonard Young and wife Wanda; father-in-law Pete Jester; brother-in-law Jimmy "Bub" Jester; sister-in-law Denise Stubbs; three nieces Theresa Powell, Courtney Roach, and Sarah Young; two nephews James and Nick Stubbs. Joe Mac will be missed by many relatives and friends new and old.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 5 at 11:00 A.M. at
