Joy Elizabeth Lafferty, 65, of Bodcaw, Arkansas passed away on July 4, 2020 at her home. She was born March 3, 1955 to Kenneth H. and Bonnie S. (Stell) Lafferty in Pasadena, Texas. Joy graduated from Bodcaw High School.

Joy was a member of Falcon Church of Christ. Her passions were fishing and hunting.

She is preceded in death by her father; brother, Michael Lafferty; her grandparents Dora & Edward Stell and George W. & Claudia (Cox) Lafferty.

Joy is survived by her mother; brother, David (Paula) Lafferty of Magnolia, AR; nieces, Kim (James) Badgett, Jessica Nash, Michelle Lafferty, Brandi (Cody) Chisholm; nephews, Jeremy (Jessica) Stenseth and Cody (Kadie) Clark; eight great-nieces and nephews; aunts; Virginia (Bill) Mitchell of Memphis, TN and Hazel Fletcher of Camden, AR; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A walk-through visitation will be held 7:00pm-8:00pm Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials/donations may be made to the Falcon Church of Christ.
