Pastor Juan B. Ruiz Banegas, age 61, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025. He was born on June 17, 1963, in Honduras, and later devoted his life to faith, family, and service. He departed this life to join his beloved parents, Juan Ramon Ruiz and Lucila O. Banegas, along with his brother, Jose Ramon Ruiz.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through his devoted wife of 33 years, Leonor Ruiz, and his nine children: Franklin Ruiz, Gustavo (Monica) Ruiz, Juan Fernando (Emy) Ruiz, Moises Villegaz, Margie (Frederick) Thomas, Monica (James) Hayden, Mark (Megan) Morgan, Martha (Kevin) Ferrettie, and his “Princessa,” Lenaliya Ruiz.

He will be forever missed by his 15 grandchildren: Fredrick (Tyheshia) Thomas Jr., Cornelius (Ayshala) Thomas, TJ Turner, Giselle Villegaz, Monte Turner, Tamori Morgan, Kaleb Ruiz, Brecklyn Hayden, Aubree Morgan, Lily Ferrettie, Lucas Ruiz, Nora Ferrettie,  Samuel Ruiz and Jeremiah Ruiz; along with 14 great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Pastor Juan’s love continues to live through his seven siblings: Olga (Rudolfo) Martinez, Ondina Ruiz, Reina Ruiz, Oscar Martinez, Elizabeth Ruiz, Jose Esteban Ruiz, and Lidia Ruiz.

His faithful devotion and loving spirit will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
