Mrs. Katherine Wright was born on August 17, 1953 to the late George Edwin Moore and Roberta Hill Moore of Nashville, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelious Wright, Sr.; siblings, Darlene Moore, Henry Moore (Mary Eliza Moore) and James Moore.

She confessed Christ at an early age at New Light CME Church of Nashville, Arkansas.  Katherine was united in holy matrimony with Cornelious Wright, Sr.  They were together for 47 years and to this union a son was born, Alexander Wright.

She peacefully departed this life on January 11, 2020 at her home in Nashville, Arkansas.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, Alexander Wright of Nashville, AR, David Wright of Dallas, TX, Cornelious Wright, Jr. of Houston, TX, Cherry Wright of Texas; three sisters, Rosemary Allen of Lancaster, CA, Lisa Griffen of St. Louis, MO, Loretta Nelson (Nathaniel) of Nashville, AR; three brothers, George Moore (Vanessa) of East St. Louis, MO, Dale Moore (Elizabeth) and James Roy Moore (Norma) both of St. Louis, MO; two very special young ladies reared as her daughters, Donna Pryor and Kim Ferreira; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12pm-5pm Friday at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, January 25 at Hicks Memorial Chapel, 407 South Hazel Street, Hope.  Burial will be at Sunset Gardens in Nashville.  Arrangements entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
