Kevin Dewayne Crews, age 54, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Mr. Crews was born on July 11, 1970 in Hope, Arkansas to Shirley and Richard “Dick” Crews.
Kevin was a member of the Class of 1988 at Hope High School. He spent several years in the butchering business and later spent time as a photographer then retired from Red River Army Depot as a Diesel Mechanic.
Kevin enjoyed fishing, loud music, car shows, Mopar cars, collecting, antiques, bowling, barbecuing, and spending time with friends and family.
He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Devin Kaleb Crews; granddaughter, Scarlett Biddle; sisters, Sarah Hale and Carolyn Schobey; brother, James Richard Crews; father-in-law, William “Willie” McCord, Jr; and niece, Krystal Crider.
Kevin is survived by his wife of 16 years, Rebecca McCord; children, Kelsey Lowe, Danielle Green, and Richard Jacob Crews; brother, Bob (Teresa) Crews; sisters, Sandy (Mitch) Downs, Linda (Don) Adams; sister-in-law, Sara (Kay) McCord; special nephews, Jason Crews, Jim (Crystal) Crews; special niece, Analisa Gabrielle Haynes; step-mother, Nita Crews; mother-in-law, Ernestine McCord; two grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 10:00 am at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home (1001 South Main St., Hope, Arkansas 71801).
Funeral services will follow on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Neil Ridley officiating.
Burial to follow in Harts Chapel Cemetery near Curtis, Arkansas (1647 Vaden Rd, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923).
Pallbearers are Richard Jacob Crews, Jason Crews, Jim Crews, Riley Crews, Donald McCord, and Jeremy Canning.
