Kevin Lamont Threets Sr., affectionately known as “Kell,” passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born on December 24, 1974, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to the late Reginald White and Daisy Threets.

Kell professed his life to Christ at an early age. On October 10, 2020, he married the love of his life, Alicia Ogden. Together, they had two sons, Amir Ogden and Kevin Threets Jr., along with a stepson, Karseeko Pippins Jr., and twin goddaughters, Amore’ Scales and Aaliyah Scales, whom he loved dearly.

Kell earned his CDL and took great pride in his career as a professional truck driver. Over the years, he worked for Yourga Trucking, J.M. Bozeman Enterprises, and most recently, Navajo Express, where he was employed for eight years.

A true Dallas Cowboys fan, Kell was known for his vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor. He loved mud riding, cracking jokes, and spending time with his wife, kids, friends, and family. He was the life of the party and one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. Whether he knew you or not, Kell was always ready to lend a helping hand. He believed in being real with people—telling it like it is, whether you liked it or not. His passion was driving and working with his hands, often taking things apart and putting them back together—even if they didn’t need fixing. When Kell was around, there was never a dull moment. He will truly be missed and loved forever.

Kell was preceded in death by his father, Reginald White; his mother, Daisy Threets-Jenkins; and his father-in-law, Charlie Ogden Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Alicia Threets; sons, Amir Ogden and Kevin Threets Jr.; stepson, Karseeko Pippins Jr.; goddaughters, Amore’ Scales and Aaliyah Scales; brothers, Gary Threets, Darren (Natalee) Threets, Arthur Threets Jr., and Michael Threets; sisters, Felicia (Kenny) Allen, Karren Threets, Cassandra (Dwayne) Thomas, and Katrina (Ivory) Adams; mother-in-law, Joyce Ogden; sisters-in-law, Kenyatta Gulley and Monica Staggers; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
