Larry Lamb

Larry Phillip Lamb, 70, went to his Eternal Home on Friday, September 20, 2024, in Texarkana, Texas. Born November19,1953 in Nashville, AR to the late Harvey Lee Lamb and Tommie Burke Lamb. Larry was a general laborer who worked in agricultural construction, worked at J&J Livestock, and later in life, worked at Tri State Pawn (where he probably spent more on guns than he brought home in sales for the week).

Larry loved anything outdoors, especially fishing and deer hunting, and most recently his high fence hunt where he shot his trophy buck. Family was one of the most important things in life to Larry and he looked forward to dressing up as Sant Claus for his great grandchildren. He lived for the time each year when he could see the joy in their eyes as they saw him dressed in his Santa Claus costume.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers Jerry Lamb and Kenneth Lamb, his sister Cleatha Lamb, and an infant grandson Cason Paul Lamb.

Larry is survived by his wife of 49.5 years Carol Lamb and four children: Michael Richards and wife Peggi Glenn of Richmond VA, Kenny Lamb of Hope AR, Josh Lamb and wife Crystal Lamb of Greenville, TX, and Holly Lamb of Gurdon AR. Larry also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren: Anastasia, Bryan, Connor, Decklan, Nathan, Seth, Samantha, Alyssa, Josh Jr., Madison, Kirsten, Kloey, Reggie, Keyani, and Eli. Larry also leaves behind thirteen great grandchildren he also loved dearly.

Visitation will be Friday, September 27,2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope and funeral services will be Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home with son Josh Lamb performing the ceremony.  Burial will follow immediately afterwards at Shiloh Cemetery in Mineral Springs, AR.
