On Tuesday, October 13, 1981 in De Queen, Arkansas, Earl and the late Myrtle “Faye” Williams welcomed a baby girl named Latasha Yvonne Williams. She joined New Zion Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member for the rest of her life.
Latasha graduated from Saratoga High School with the Class of 2000 in Saratoga, AR. She also attended the University of Arkansas Community College in Hope, AR.
She then married the love of her life Charles “Chuk” Wright. They had three children together and one adopted daughter, the late Demarion Wright, MarQuan Wright, Dhamya Wright, and Jayda Richards.
Latasha loved spending time with her family and friends until she entered into eternal rest. On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Latasha Yvonne Wright gained her angel wings. Her life and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by: her son, Demarion Wright; mother, Myrtle "Faye" Williams; grandmother, Nora Bell Geiger; and niece, Kaliea Munn.
Latasha leaves the following loved ones to mourn her loss: husband, Charles Wright; children, MarQuan and Dhamya Wright, and Jayda Richards; father, Earl Williams; two brothers, Steven Williams of Saratoga, AR and Ahmad Williams of Mineral Springs, AR; one sister, Kieliema Porter of Little Rock, AR; grandfather, Clenon Geiger Sr.; father and mother in laws, Charles and Dorothy Wright Jr., Rev. Julian and Tina Burchette; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
