Linda C. Pine Ivers

Linda C. Pine Ivers, 86, of Hope, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024.

She was born on July 19, 1938, to Howard and Maxine Parks (Jones) in Lewisville, Arkansas.

Linda was blessed with having been married twice over her lifetime to two wonderful, Christian men. Her first husband, Daniel Ivers, and her were married for 44 years and had three children: Jimmy, Penny, and Scottie. After Daniel passed away in 1999, she met Raymond Pine (8 years later) in 2007 at First Baptist Church in Hope. The two enjoyed a wonderful marriage together for 13 years until Raymond’s passing in November 2020.

Linda’s main job was being a great homemaker. God truly blessed her as a mother for her kids. Her skills as an excellent cook were well known by those who visited their home, especially when it came to fried squirrel and homemade biscuits, fried fish, and the best pies ever made! She worked for a brief time at Hudson Farms, and later found God’s calling as an in-home caregiver for the elderly for over 12 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Parks and Maxine Jones, her two loving spouses, Daniel Ivers and Raymond Pine, and great grandchild Catherine. Linda never had any siblings. She is survived by her three children: Jimmy Ivers (Karen), Penny Glass (Bud), and Scottie Ivers (Laura), nine grandchildren: Shawn Grigson (Hannah), Jennifer Joy(Travis), Christopher Ivers, Cristin Dubose (Jason), Zachary Tankersley (Stormy), Kasi Stamey (Ethan), 12 great grandchildren: Arwen, Silas, Gabriel, Tristin, Adrian, Garrett, Carlisle, David, Jade, Tommi Sue, and Michael.

Our family would like to recognize the excellent care she received while at Hope Haven Assisted Living in Hope. We want to, as well, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and workers at Heather Manor Nursing and Rehab.

Visitation will be 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Unity Baptist Church, with her service immediately following at 2:00pm
