Mrs. Linda Kay (Compton) Mason passed away Thursday December 8, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a long-time resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Linda was born on January 1, 1947, in Prescott, Arkansas to Milton Love and Margie Marie Compton. She was a 1964 graduate of Gurdon High School and a graduate of Henderson State University with an Undergraduate Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She taught elementary classes at Umpire and Eudora, Special Education at Valley Springs and was a school counselor at Cutter Morning Star, Pea Ridge and Gentry Arkansas.
Survivors include; husband of 28 years James Mason Morrilton, AR. twin sons, Terry Cox wife Tonya Collinsville, OK. Perry Cox, wife Melissa, Pottsville, AR. two daughters, Danielle, husband Greg Stephenson Vilonia, AR. Michelle, husband Craig Durmon of Hot Springs, AR. step-daughter Karen Perkins, husband Josh of Houston, TX. brother, Donald Compton, wife KAY, sister Charleen Fear, husband Pat, four grandsons; Chance Cox, wife Beth Ann, Seth Stephenson, wife Lindsey, Tyler Cox, wife Hanna, Brady Durmon, four granddaughters; Callie Grisham, husband Trey, Hannah Stephenson, Tori and Dr. Alex Riggs, Cadie Cox, one step-granddaughter; Lila Perkins, five great-grandsons Carter Grisham, Cooper Grisham, Carson Grisham, Oliver Cox, Ira Cox, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday December 10, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 HWY 371 Prescott, Arkansas 71857
Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Sunday December 11, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Cornish Chapel with burial to follow at DeAnn Cemetery Prescott.
